The Skull is built for safety and protection, with the looks and comfort that little kids will enjoy--all at a reasonable price point. Unlike many kid's helmets, the Skull from Schwinn provides the custom fit you need for comfort and safety with the Dial Fit system. Particularly handy for growing kids, this system allows you to tension the helmet for an exact fit by turning a dial at the back of the helmet. This eliminates the need for the extra foam spacer cushions common to inexpensive bike helmets that also can compress and compromise the fit over time. The Dial Fit system also makes it easy to adjust the under-chin webbing strap. Additional safety features on the helmet include extended coverage of the head with a built in sun brim that both protects from front impacts and keeps little eyes more comfortable. Finally, eight contoured vents keep air flowing so that kids stay comfortable and cool as they ride.
