In-molding technology molds the outer shell onto the EPS foam, protecting the EPS from dings and dents for a longer lasting helmet, and adding to the structural integrity of the helmet with a molded wrap fit. In addition, the in molding process reduces the overall helmet weight by eliminating excess and fallible tape and glue. The dual Detox ratchet retention system secures the Flux helmet comfortably in place for the best possible fit. The Inset Chin Straps are anchored directly into the EPS shell offer improved roll-off strength, and reduced overall bulk and weight.
